I saw a spider on a web
Hanging high above my head
Looking at me with a hundred eyes
Does it think I’m a fly?
It spreads out its eight long legs
Readied itself for the perfect catch
Doesn’t it realize?
Its downfall is its appetite.

ReplyDeleteI made this shot during one of my early morning hike up Ampang Hill, Malaysia. This is a wonderful place for a morning hike as there always a lot of shooting opportunities with a lot of insects, reptiles, birds and squirrels and luxuriant growths. And the air is so fresh. It is always interesting to compare the shots we made. I saw this gigantic spider hanging high over the water's edge and asked my buddy to stand there for me to make the shot to add depth to my shot. We liked how this shot turns out.
