On the first day of Oktoberfest 2012, we woke up to a cloudy and rainy day. When we made our way to the fair, it was alternating between drizzling and pouring. This is a wet, wet start to the festival. Though I am sure the crowd would be much bigger had it not rained, still it did not deter many from making their way there. And it may even aid in the drowning of the beers judging the the quantity consumed. Beer with rain maybe taste better or maybe it makes no difference at all. I have never been to Oktoberfest so don't know how much of a difference the rain made to the festival but to me, it is very interesting for I've never been to a fair when it was raining this heavily. So what is there to do but to enjoy!
