I've had just enough time to... meet Buddha by the wood
Came across this Buddha exploring and strolling around an apartment block in Munich
It is
said -
You can
find Buddha anywhere
In every
person that you meet
In the
calm of every storm
In the
silence of every noise
In the
depth of every night
In the
beauty of every sunrise
Still I
was surprised –
When I
found Buddha on a walk
In a
distant land
By a
pile of cut wood
Sitting
there, serenely
Where he
belongs

One evening in Munich, having some time to kill, I spent it in aimless wandering; straying from my hotel, walking through suburban homes seeking nothing yet with a keen expectation. I do not know what I seek yet I will know what I'm looking for when I find it. I ended up in a quiet apartment block, apparently not an exciting place for a surprised find. Everything was neatly arranged and well kept. Not a disorderly area when one will discover a hidden treasure. I took a right angle turn and almost miss it had I not looked down looking for something of interest. There it was, a Buddha seated next to a pile of cut woods on brick floors. I would never have expected this in my wildest imagination, a serene Buddha seated outside an apartment block in Munich. It brought a smile to my face as I recalled the saying - "you can find Buddha anywhere", Indeed.

I have less luck.... lately all I find .. in many places ... is Snow White and the 7 dwarfs.... People fill their gardens with these little statues.... LOL
