I've had just enough time to... open my window to the world
A lovely window that I chanced upon in Malacca...
How you look at the world
Shapes how you look within
Your window to the world is
What It sees when it looks in
You see more through the views
Of others than what you yourself see
Look at the world
With love and compassion
So that the world
Will look at you the same
...said a lot about the owner.

1000 Reasons
This is the reason why I love Malacca. Every trip that I’m there, I will wander through different side lanes and make pleasant discoveries such as this beautiful window to the world.

I read your post last night but wanted to think some before typing a comment here. One's vision/outlook to the world is colored or filtered by one's experiences, disposition etc. Yet we recognize that these "filters" are not always reliable since experiences/disposition can be shaped by a myriad of factors and could be biased. Ultimately, having the sensitivity and awareness to realize that I (just like everyone else I interact with) act on sometimes incomplete/biased experiences etc - we ought to look at the world with love and compassion.

Cannot go by your verses Thou. You are so fluid with words that accompany you fine images Thou. Take care.

more explicit so less a composition than an examination of particulars...isn't it strange how just subtle changes in the view can change the whole character of the work?
