Yes, untouched nature - this is what remains after the disappearance of humanity. Sometimes I think that this would have been better ...

ReplyDeleteI was outside a famous temple in Nepal when I spied this tall structure on top of which sat this goddess (I think) in prayer. It was a fantastic monuments thousands of years old that laid testament to the creativity and ingenuity of men. But what does nature think of it? The pigeons, oh the pigeons as all pigeons of the world paid their respect to these monuments of the greatness of men by roosting and shitting on it. It had no respect for them. It is nature's way of saying - this is what I think of you and your pride!
