I see Beauty in many things. And like the ghosts that only speak to you if you notice them, they tell me wondrous tales. With my camera and my thoughts, I captured these as faithfully as I can to share with you. And by doing so, they gave me the reasons. And though the thousand reasons may not all be sweet and some indeed bitter; they are still reasons to live. Come to think about it, that is Life, isn't it?

Navigation By Fingers



I've had just enough time to...   navigate by fingers


Taken on the road one dark night along a lonely stretch from Tianjin to Beijing, China


The night is dark
The road unfamiliar
The stars covered by clouds

The only light
From the smartphone
Navigation by fingers

Led us to be found

Loneliness and emptiness

Since I left all behind
Only memories in my mind
Blue lights from the screen
Black universe all around
And I can't hear no sound

Everything is lost
Everything is gone
Everywhere I go
I find myself alone

Endless days passing by
I have fallen too deep
I navigate and dream

    A 1000 Reasons
    The world has changed from the days or nights when sailors do their navigation by stars. Now, in the darkest night; have no fear if you have a smartphone near. With the flick of your fingers, you can navigate the stars. And find that tiny spot in whichever tiny corner of the Earth and a detailed instruction to lead you there. The marvel of modern technology. But like the songs said “something is gain and something is lost in living every day”. It robbed us of the wondrous sense of adventure and the mystery of the unknown. A traveler today is nothing like the adventurers of the old. How much the little phone has changed our life.
    This was taken while travelling along a stretch of unfamiliar road from Tianjin to Beijing one dark and starless night with only the phone to guide us. And guided us it did.

    A striking image .....excellent light and composition ! A fine illustration and commentary on how technology drives so many changes in our world and everyday life. .     A very good photo....and testimony of the present era !!!!! we depend on the smartphone even to go for a walk ... we first click on the "weatherman" bookmark on our smartphones and see how the weather will be in the next 6 hours..... !!! Gulp !!!! ................ just an example...
