I've had just enough time to... enjoy my life not yours.
Taken while walking through the main road of Yangon, Myanmar.
Enjoy
Life, you said.
Well, I
tried.
And I
find it bitter with no means to sweeten it.
Change
my attitude, you said.
Well, I
did.
But
there was no harmony in my singing.
Hope for
the better, you said.
Well, I
hoped and prayed.
Even as
each day gets darker than before the day.
So now,
it is my fault you said.
I think
I agreed.
You with
your fancy car and positive attitude.
With no
need to hope for your days are bright.
And your
nights are peaceful.
Go ahead
and enjoy your life,
But stop
telling me to enjoy mine.
It is MY LIFE!

ReplyDeleteA 1000 Reasons
ReplyDeleteI was walking down the main street in Yangon, Myanmar after a long day of visiting factories when I spotted this bus passed by me. I instantaneously know I've to make that shot and only one chance at that. It was a blur of movement as I switched on my camera, focused, zoomed, composed, shot before the bus rumbled away. Most of the shots I made and you see here in this photostream are shot within 7 seconds. I'm used to this as I'm a fast shooter. This is one of the rarer one where I have to make it really quick. I'm pleased at what I managed to capture and the look on the passenger's face is a bonus together with what is written on the body of the bus a chance for me to write my story.

I like the contrast in this pic...His expression and the writings on the bus, real good timing.
A 1000 Reasons
Looking at the picture, I saw some reflections so I must have shot it from another car! I've not get down from the vehicle yet! I think I need some help with my memory. But that part about getting the quick shot is true. Strange how your memory play tricks on you.
