I've had just enough time to... feel the trembling of the string of fate
Taken in an industrial loom in Yangon, Myanmar
The
silver threads of fate spins
In the
loom of the blind sisters
Trembling
under their fingers
And
another hero falls
Blind
eyes shed no tears
See no
sorrow
Feel no
fear
The
quivering threads sing
Exciting
the tender hearts
With its
seductive rhyme
And
another maiden falls
Blind
eyes reveal no love
See no
blushes
Feel no
pain
The
blind sisters chuckle
Picks
another thread, breaks it
With a
snap and attaches it again
But no
silver thread
Can mend
the
Severed
string
Of a heart
shattered
________
Darling, I am growing old,
Silver threads among the gold
Shine upon my
brow today;
Life is fading fast away;
But, my darling, you will be, will
be,
Always young and fair to me,
Yes, my darling, you will be,
Always
young and fair to me.
Your verse reminds me of the song that goes:
ReplyDelete"Silver thread and golden needles
Cannot mend this heart of mine
And I dare not drown my sorrows
In the warm glow of your wine..."

In a yarn spinning factory in the outskirt of Yangon, Myanmar; I walked among silver threads twirling and whirling everywhere endlessly. Nobody speaks in the dim environment and they move as shadows among the monster looms spitting out threads after threads. The machines chatter loudly in their mechanical language as they work furiously. And the shadows seem to understand the commands and hurry about to reattach a broken string or transfer a full cone. A hundred noisy machines, a thousand silent workers. Have the blind sisters gone high tech?

Excellent work.

Freezing The Fast Spinning And Moving Moment. Very Well Presented. Spinning , Dyeing , Weaving and the entire process is in the open. This is a common sight in country side in most of Asian Countries.
Very True Feeling expressed in Words. The Perfect Quote.
Well done My friend.

A 1000 Reasons
At one end of the factory, against the lighted window; I saw her shadow and my heart skipped a few beats. No, it was not her. The blind sisters played me a trick. But the image was so familiar that my heart still trembles through the vibration of the string the blind sister picked. I froze and took the scene in along with all the pain. And when her head turned and faced my way, my knees went weak. In a yarn factory on the outskirt of Myanmar, I saw her again. It was not her but I saw her again.

You do find the most interesting place to dwell on it:-) this reminds me I need to start using my silver wires and discs to make something for Christmas presents, I have big family so they will be many of them to do, I have to be creative not to repeat myself,
better than A shirt or a tie I guess...LOL
This is just great the way it looks!

This is just marvelous my friend, I touched some spider web silk threads to moved them out of the way as they were blocking the gate, for a moment I thought you were talking about silk threads:-) love the song, thanks!

An eloquent poignant prose of loss & yearning, thou. We too see her silhouette against the lighted window & wait with bated breath for her to turn her head. Beautiful instrumental & lyrics from the Fureys. Thank you.

Are they spools of silk?
Worth it to read post. Especially. your stands utilized to secure the head. I would not have noticed that alone. Must look carefully at outdated pictures to determine this specific characteristic. Diablo III Gold
