speaks a lot about the culture of that society

speaks a lot about the management of the city

speaks a lot about the problem of the country

On the way to work one day, my car stopped at the traffic light. Whenever this happened, I will look around for interesting things to observe. If you look, you never know what you may find. That day, I saw a few packets of drinks that were already consumed irresponsibly discarded and landed near the cover of a monsoon drain. As this is part of the highway, they must have been thrown out from a vehicle. It upsets me how some people abused the environment and the plastic bags are one of the main culprits of pollution. I wished all government will ban it no matter how convenient they are. We survived without them before and we will do so again without them. But with them destroying Nature, I wonder how long it will be before they destroy us if we encourage its use all for the sake of convenience.

Unfortunately some people are just slobs, although our beach is very clean once in while I will see a can of empty beer, btw the trash cans are all along the boardwalk,

Excellent work . All of us see such sights, and try to ignore them and go on down the road . You have the thoughtfulness to photograph the image...and reflect on the scourge of litter and plastic bags. It would take so little effort for people to dispose of their trash properly ...I wonderful why they are so lazy ? The mockumentary was excellent as well ....how awful that this huge area of the Pacific Ocean has become so filled with litter. Thanks for your excellent reporting and raising our awareness.

I think this behaviour has become a global-way-of-living.......of some bad mannered persons..... I would have kicked my son's backside if I had ever seen or found him doing something wrong ... but luckily he is like us and lives in respect ....

I remember now seeing a news item on 11.11.11 regarding the number of weddings booked at our city hall too. Suspicion reigns in all cultures. As you say, no doubt to be repeated next year on 12.12.12. *~*
