"The sharp knife of a short life

I've had just enough time..."

- "If I Die Young" The Band Perry

I see Beauty in many things. And like the ghosts that only speak to you if you notice them, they tell me wondrous tales. With my camera and my thoughts, I captured these as faithfully as I can to share with you. And by doing so, they gave me the reasons. And though the thousand reasons may not all be sweet and some indeed bitter; they are still reasons to live. Come to think about it, that is Life, isn't it?

Don't Create What You Cannot Love

I've had just enough time to...   love what I create

Taken in a shopping complex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I did not ask to be created
To be given life
Don’t expect any thanks
For bringing me into being
To this world I was “born”
It is no big deal
Nothing special
To think I owe you
When you are in my debt

Don’t create what you cannot love
You are responsible -
Love what you create

  1. “When I was younger, I tended to lean towards the attitude of the arrogant creator thinking that all I create owed me a sense of gratitude to – its creator. But age has mellowed me. The years of living have rounded the sharp edges. I started to see things in a different light. The years have taught me some humility. I no longer believed that just because I can create, I’m bigger than my creation. That they owed me a gratitude of existence. It is the other way round. I owed them a debt of responsibility. It is I who brought them into this world. They did not ask for it. Thus, I owed it to love them. I must love what I create. Or I should not create…”

wow...that is a tough one... for an artist...
I see my work as both catharsis and also as a path...
    steps...
I think one can "grow" by taking steps.. but is there emotion...?
certainly I am engrossed in the process... completely... it is a way of life even...
    ahhhhhh... a difference... I think I see...
to me... the real art is the living..thinking...doing...
the product is sort of a residue of the real thing... like a shadow... a Xerox... or even excrement...
the real thing is in the mind... intangible... the tangible... is not the real thing...
but my child... that is another story... ohhh yessssss... ohhhhhh yessss... loving him... no matter what... still loving him...
