In the Horizon Club in Shangrila Ho Chi Minh, they left me a bowl of ripe strawberries in the hotel room. I had to go out for dinner that evening. When I returned was too late for strawberries. The next morning was too early strawberries and I had to go to the office. When I was ready for strawberries that afternoon, I find them all moldy. Not one to cry over spilled milk, I took out my camera to shoot my regrets…

unbelievable!!! thats awful! I thought for a sec they served them like that, they really need to be refridgerated these tender soft fruits in this climate....

Not a yummy treat my friend. At first I thought you sprinkled sugar on them and then when I read your description I saw that was not the case. Hope you are doing well in spite of the moldy fruit. :-)

Great capture on not so appetizing strawberries,
I must say when I was working in Greece we only used over ripped strawberries and other fruits to make our ice cream, people used to turn and look as I was riding my bicycle with cases strapped in the back,
the aroma was so intense thinking of them now I am salivating:-)

Several proverbs come to mind . 'He who hesitates is lost ' . ' Make hay while the sun is shining ' . Well, the chance to taste the full sweetness of the strawberries was lost ....but you turned the event into several creative and excellent photos !! .This calls to mind another proverb : ' When life gives you lemons , make lemonade ' .
